A super fresh one today, shot a couple of days ago on a yearly outing to a local maple sugar shack (cabane à sucre). We got the only rainy day in two weeks, but it was quite interesting visually. You see, there is always snow left around this time of the year, but late winter this year was insanely warm and so it all melted away at an absurd rate leaving nothing by March 24th. And so I was fortunate enough to capture this rare shot ( in Quebec) of what looks like a depressing, gray European winter day. Perhaps it’s a look into the climatic future of our country. Anyhow, I find this very moody and beautiful, a nature stand still right before Spring and its sudden explosion of color. On sale now on Istock.
