So we frolicked under apple trees heavy with fruit in endless orchards dotted with sheep and running pheasants and lined with Abbey ruins and blown away resistance Castles along the edges of the Wye River. We danced with fairies and gnomes and looked for Hobbit mansions in the green hills while dodging dragons roaring above. And then we had great pub food in the small village of Rayader. A fitting day summing up our brief visit of Wales, don’t you think?
