Well after a long and no so pleasant flight through Philadelphia, we finally landed in Manchester, got stuck at the small airport for 3 hours, first a long queue at the dreadfully understaffed customs, and then a mishap with the car reservation had us go through every single car rental places in semi-sleepy haze for an automatic car. We finally got one and went on our way to our first destination: Chester.

What a wonderfully pleasant surprise. Chester is a small town full of character and sooo british, mixing up so many different architecture types from thousands of years of history in one amazing place. And the place just empties out after the shops are closed… great place to shoot. Cherry on top: a very satisfying Italian meal at Ristorante Sergio, a place in tip top shape.

Now I’m off to sleep. Wait a minute… it’s only 9?! ah.. jet lag…
