For the next few days, I’ll feature risky stock photos, stuff that I wouldn’t normally even submit, but since I’m still editing travel pictures there are some that are lovely, photos that just happened because of special weather conditions or because I just happened to be there at that time ready to shoot. They are risky because they are either of subjects that tend to get rejected (sunsets anyone?) or technically out of comfort zone (low ISO, difficult focus condition, windy or wet etc.) In this case, we have both problems, subject, focus and light (silhouettes are risky, it’s a toss up as to which reviewer you get). Focus-wise, I resorted to shoot two photographs and combine them together so that the sunset and the tall grass in the foreground are in focus. As for the subject, well, I hope the deep red and wild nature theme appeals to some buyers. I sure like this one personally – certainly in my top 10 Sunsets photos.
