Rare treat today: a super large, wide, beautiful, vibrant, breath taking panorama reduced to blog size tiny proportions! Adjust your glasses, and think that online buyers only see a thumbnail. That’s what makes panoramic images hard to sell, but when they do take off, they’re usually very good sellers, especially if they’re city skylines. In this case, it’s a landscape, one taken in the wetlands between Brunswick and Jekyll Island in Georgia. I just loved the light and the boat in the river, making a nice line of sight from the bridge at the upper left side of the shot. I know it’s absolutely in the middle of nowhere, and of little commercial interest (although how many of you wished they’d be on that boat fishing in that sunny morning? I’m sure there’s a market for that) but I just love this shot. Oh, and kudos to Photoshop CS5 for seamlessly assembling this 7-shot panorama without me having to do a single touch up. I guess they got that one right in this edition.
