Today’s photo is for my mom. She’s always loved autumn as a season, and in fact inspired my trip to Charlevoix. She usually goes once a year and then raves about the color. You might have read earlier that on Friday, the trees were bland, and although some rusty shades were visible the result was underwhelming. Well, it froze during the night and the next day… this is what we got. Full fiery fall colors.
We drove up a country road and saw that it ended at the Hautes-Gorges provincial park in Charlevoix. THe day was warm, sunny and bright and so we decided to get off and stroll for a while in the park. It was breathtaking and so nice… totally worth the trip. This is one of the trails, and the photo has almost no post-processing. It was just beautiful like that.
